And… the wheat trend continues. I don’t like to call Lancaster Brewing’s Strawberry Wheat beer a trend though. I discovered this beer a few years ago when I bought one of the sampler barn packs. I just about took out a broom and beat my hubby with it to keep him away from the Strawberry Wheat.
Ive have had a strawberry blonde before from another brewery but it was too light and sweet for my tastes.
This wheat lager has a bit more body and depth and the strawberry gives it a little sweet zing, but it doesn’t punch you in the face. Id get yourself a bowl a spinach greens, some raspberry vinaigrette, a handful of walnuts, and some chopped strawberries to go with this one and fix yourself up a salad to go with this beer. It’s a perfect pairing with yummy summer salads.
