With the war ended, there are brand new opportunities opening up that are an effort to encourage international trade. These expos are being set up in a variety of cities as a way to invite inventors and businessmen and women to come together and show of their latest designs and creations. These forums allow potential customers to get a first look at cutting edge new ideas that can be brought to reality. These expos are also a way for business ideas that need investors to solicit funding from the public to help start new businesses.
The Expo in Rodney will take place over three days and consists of a variety of categories. The categories are open to all to sign up as presenters and each show in the expo is also open to the public for viewing.
Categories
If you would like to enter an item into the Expo, please contact either Montana Dixon or Lola Jones, as they will be acting as the local hosts for the events.
Better Homes and Gardens
Submissions in this category are for items and products that enhance the life of the domestically concerned and the agriculturally oriented. John Deere is offering a cash prize for: “Best Agricultural Advance” that will be awarded along with a cash prize.
Inventions, products, and business promoted during this category time allotment should be products that in some way improve upon the everyday lives of people.
Personal Protection
Submissions in this category are for items and products that promote a sense of self security and protection. Two of the top firearm manufacturers in North America will be in attendance for this portion of the Expo as they are both expected to provide a demonstration of various products and product capabilities.
National and Corporate Protection
Some firearms and weapons are just too large to be considered “personal protection.” The Invention Expo organizers have created a separate category for items that were ill-suited to the Personal Protection category.
Nouveau
Inventions and products that are not well suited to either of the other categories fall into this category.
GM Note: We will have some weird bits and bobbles sitting on top of cards that explain exactly what that bit or bauble is supposed to be. The phys reps might not be great because I have tons on my plate and I stink at making props. So- if you would like to bring a prop to have on display at the expo- please do!
