The USS Kearsage is no mystery to trouble in the high seas, but this recently incident is baffling experts across the country. Kearsage was en-route to collect returning astronaut, Wally Schirra, from a landing site in the Pacific Ocean when all signs of the astronaut and the prestigious carrier vessel vanished. No formal statement has been issued by NASA or the Navy at this time.
