The Three Graces ad agency is owned by Charles Grace and his two brothers Arthur and Mitchell, a family of wealthy New York socialites. Charles Grace prides himself on employing only the best and most forward thinkers at his ad agency. The Graces and their team have a broad portfolio that includes companies like American Airways, Procter & Gamble, and Noxzema Chemicals. The team at Three Graces has launched products and brands that have quickly become household names- like Tide laundry powder and Cover Girl cosmetics.
Sullivan Percy is a bright and shining star at the agency. Any campaign that he touches seems to rise to tremendous success. Other executives at the agency all flock to Percy in an attempt to learn and better themselves in the industry. The Graces have sent Percy to Las Vegas in an attempt to woo some west coast clientele and to set up a satellite branch of the Agency. Rumors have it that is Percy is successful and lands a few of the Vegas Casinos that he may be promoted to executive partner within the company.
Redmond Madoc is a copywriter who works with Percy. Madoc has a few bad habits that impact his work and relationships with co-workers. Percy does his best to help Madoc, but a number of the secretaries are simply waiting for Percy to give up on Madoc and hang him out to dry for the Graces to deal with.
Tad Fabulous is an account executive with the agency. He specializes in product and brand development. A company may have a great idea for a toy in which you place plastic body parts into a potato and he decides to name it Mr. Potato Head. He has also singularly named four cocktails just because they feature Coca-cola in them.
Mary Moon is the Three Graces first female copywriter. She was promoted from the stenography pool after having a splendid idea about the Procter and Gamble product, Old Spice. She suggested the nautical theme and motif for the product and the scene became a sensation with men who fancied themselves as rugged seamen and fishermen.
