I sampled three different hard ciders when I was at Brew at the Zoo at the National Zoo. I had a red apple cider, a green apple cider, and the Original Sin Elderberry Cider.
When its poured into the glass it has a beautiful dark magenta color. It was sweet, crisp, tangy, and delicious!
If this were a taste and carry event, I would have been leaving with a case of this under my arm- for sure!
I have also had the Fox Barrel Elderberry and Rhubarb pear cider and I wasnt a huge fan. I was pleased to taste and enjoy this version and I hope my local shops decide to carry it.
Its also worth noting, that the cider is gluten free so folks with allergies can enjoy the beverage right alongside of their friends and family, too.
