Why Under the Mask? I have been a fan of Neil Gaiman ever since I saw the Marquis de Carabas and Lady Door on screen in the televised version of Neverwhere. I read anything I could get my hands on from Gaiman which lead me to Marvel’s 1602 featuring Marvel’s famed characters re-envisioned in a new time period and setting. I was inspired and have wanted to do my own reimagination of superheroes in a similar fashion.

Why Under the Mask? Rita needed help, so I volunteered. I love doing research and writing story lines.

Why Under the Mask? I have been an avid follower of superhero shows and comic books since the 70’s. It could’ve been the challenge of the Superfriends to nanana Batman and I watched it. Spiderman had his horribly animated cartoon and I watched it. I even collected some of the more obscure comic books from Marvel back then (Nova and the Defenders). It was a genre that called to me; when Rita asked for volunteers to help write it, I naturally said I would.

Why Under the Mask? Growing up I was a big fan of superheroes, mostly the Marvel end of things, but enjoyed it all. I also love history and the renaissance in particular. Add to that Rita will bounce ideas off my head whether I’m in or not, seemed like a good enough set of reasons…and she might have agreed to me taking point on Cyberpunk so….

Why Under the Mask? Shakespeare and Superheroes? Count me in! I am a huge Neil Gaiman fan (my comics were mostly Dark Horse and Vertigo) and I have loved Shakespeare since I was 9 and saw the Comedy of Errors done by the Flying Karamazov Brothers and Abnar the Eccentric (both were involved in Jewel of the Nile). Add in a favorite time period (I am “dating” Ezio de Firenze) and a degree in history and….mwahahahahaha!!!

Why Under the Mask? I am a fan of superheroes, but Rita’s idea about reimagination of traditional superheroes really sparked my interest. In general, I enjoy interesting and unexpected takes on more traditional stories, and this game seems like a great place to work on those ideas!
